BlankSpayce ("we", "our", "us") is a networking platform for founders and entrepreneurs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our App.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following types of data:

  • Account data: name, email address, profile photo

  • Profile data: industry, business description, goals, location, company headcount, revenue range, project status

  • Business verification data: Companies House company number and officer details

  • Usage data: connections, messages, session attendance

  • Payment data: subscription status (payment details are handled by Stripe and not stored by us)

  • Device data: push notification tokens for sending notifications

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the App and its features

  • Enable you to discover and connect with other founders

  • Process subscription payments via Stripe

  • Send push notifications relevant to your activity

  • Verify your business identity through Companies House

  • Improve and develop the App

  • Comply with legal obligations

3a. Payments & Subscriptions

We use Stripe to process subscription payments. We do not store your payment card details. Stripe may collect and process your payment information in accordance with their privacy policy.

3b. Data Storage Location

Your data may be processed and stored in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area (EEA), or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide you the service you signed up for

  • Legitimate interests: to improve the App and prevent fraud

  • Consent: for push notifications (which you can withdraw at any time)

  • Legal obligation: where required by law

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Stripe: for payment processing

  • Daily.co: for live audio/video rooms

  • OneSignal: for push notifications

  • Companies House API: for business verification

All third-party processors are contractually bound to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law.

The App may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services.

6. Profile Visibility

Your profile information (name, photo, industry, business description, location, and project status) is visible to other users of the App as part of the discovery and networking features. You can edit or delete this information at any time from your profile settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App settings. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Correct inaccurate data

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Object to or restrict processing

  • Data portability

  • Withdraw consent at any time

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
